I owe my success to Tom’s great instruction!

I’m writing to express my gratitude for the instruction I received from Tom Witmer in my IDC, and ultimately the support he gave for our Instructor Exam this weekend. Both me, Robb Hamic and Don Mong took the IDC with Tom, and completed the IE this weekend. We all did great, with no makeups required. While I cannot speak for Don and Robb, I owe my success to Tom’s great instruction. I’d also like to express my gratitude to you Tom for working around my schedule. The two main reasons I chose Tom for my IDC were his extensive credentials, and his willingness to work around my schedule. As you probably recall from our talks this summer when I was doing some TEC courses with Tom, I work for the government and run a farm on the side (in addition to 4 little kids) so minimizing my time away from home was a priority. Without Tom’s ability to flex the course around my schedule I would never have been able to realize my goal of becoming an OWSI. In fact, I will recommend both FKDC and Tom to all of my veteran buddies looking to use their GI Bill for the IDC and IE as I believe you are the only shop in the keys that offers the “flex schedule for IDC” should a student require it, like me, Don and Robb.
